Sands and Serenades is a private travel house. Few clients, complete discretion, and the whole of a trip lifted off your hands.
Its standard was not built overnight. Behind it stand fifteen years and more than a hundred weddings staged by our sister house, Weddings N More, across East Africa, the Indian Ocean islands, North Africa and Asia. A destination wedding is the most unforgiving thing in travel. A hundred guests, several countries, no second take. Do that for fifteen years and you are left with something that cannot be bought, a network of doors that open on a name, and a standard where nothing reaches the client broken.
Sands and Serenades turns all of that toward a different kind of travel, and a different kind of traveller. Not the celebration that gathers a hundred people, but the private trip taken for its own sake, by those who travel for no one but themselves. Fewer of them. Held closer.
We take only a handful of clients at a time, most by reference, and each is looked after completely. You will not manage a detail, chase a confirmation, or explain yourself twice. Doors that stay shut for most simply open. It is a quiet kind of luxury, and it is not for everyone.

Who travels with us

On the ground, not at a distance
Most concierges serving these regions work from London or New York and hand delivery to a local operator. That handoff is where trips quietly fail. We are the operator and the concierge at once, so there is no seam to fall through.

The rigour of a wedding company
We come out of a company that runs multi-day weddings across borders, more than a hundred of them. A wedding is the least forgiving travel event there is. A holiday is simpler, and we hold it to the same standard.
We also take on only a small number of trips each season, and we are one of the few who can run an African leg and an Asian leg of the same trip without a handoff.
